1 bunch Arugula
1 bunch Dandelion or Radicchio
5 spears asparagus
½ avocado
½ cup broccoli sprouts
¼ cup pomegranate seeds (if available)
1 tomato, chopped
1 red bell pepper, sliced
½ cup walnuts
¼ cup seaweed (wakame, arame or hijiki)
Makes about 1 cup. Add 1 or 2 Tbs of this dressing to a serving of steamed brown or wild rice, salad, or vegetables.
½ bunch fresh basil, or 2 heaping teaspoons, dried
2 cloves garlic
½ cup lemon juice
¼ cup extra virgin olive oil
¼ cup flaxseed oil dash tamari or liquid amino acids
½ teaspoon Stevia extract
¼ cup water, filter
2 tsp lemon zest
Wash and dry basil, and peel garlic. Chop basil and garlic and combine them in the blender.
Add the remaining ingredients and blend them to a creamy consistency.
